We’re looking for a 3D Artist to help build the world of Untethered, a space-station survival sandbox built in Unity coming soon to Steam Early Access.
This is a remote role requiring the candidate to be based in Victoria, Australia. The position can be structured either as a contract role or fixed-term part-time employment, depending on your preference.
What will you do?
- Model complex space station equipment, consoles, and structures, wreckage, and space suits.
- Texturing and optimising existing 3D assets.
- Animation, particularly first person hand/equipment animations.
What are we looking for?
- Proficiency in Blender is preferred.
- A high attention for detail and an interest in industrial/aerospace engineering.
- A formal degree or certification isn’t required - demonstrated experience is more valued.
- At this stage, applicants must reside in Victoria, Australia.
Other valued skills:
- Texture creation with software such as Substance Painter, Inkscape, or Photoshop.
- Experience in Unity and source control (git) for asset integration.
- Python for automation and tool creation.
- Being Melbourne-based is highly valued, but not essential.
