You’ll work within an agile indie development team as the sole QA member to coordinate volunteer testers, conduct manual and automated testing, process bug reports, support deployment, and help deliver a seamless experience to players.

What will you do?

- Write automated and manual test cases.

- Conduct manual testing of in-development features and fixes.

- Review and maintain the public issue tracker, and respond to bug reports submitted through other channels.

- Coordinate a growing team of passionate volunteer playtesters.

- Any other task that fits your skill set. This could include Unity development, DevOps, web development, etc.

What are we looking for?

- 2+ years in QA roles, and strong knowledge of QA processes and best practices.

- Familiarity with software project management methodologies like agile, and tools like Jira.

- Great communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage time, and work to deadlines.

- Drive and ambition for learning and improving is perhaps the most important.

- Confidence with source control (git).

Other valued skills:

- Experience with DevOps and automation.

- Being Melbourne-based is highly valued, but not essential.

Why you’ll love working on Untethered:

- Working on a game with an established and eager community is highly rewarding.

- High flexibility with choice of hours and remote work. Option to work either in a contract or part-time capacity.

- Relaxed working environment with a small independent team.
